A New Name Heralds a New Outlook at Zanumfundo Primary

With all eyes on them, Phillipi K Primary officially relaunched themselves as Zanumfundo Primary on Saturday 8 September 2007.  Anthony Petersen, Acting Chief Director of Regional Services, was at the relaunch representing the WCED and he acknowledged the services that Khanya are rendering to the broader community.

Also present at the event was Captain Levendal of the South African Police Services who emphasised the importance of the community in protecting community investments such as schools.  He emphasised that the community had to be the ears and eyes in the battle of fighting crime, especially theft, in our communities. 

Partnerships, such as the one with the Khanya Project and with Grand West, and good working relationships are key to ensuring progress in communities such as the one served by Zanumfundo Primary.
