Metropole North
 Metro North Education District serves an area that comprises socially diverse communities from Bellville, Atlantis and other parts of Cape Town, where equitable delivery of the curriculum remains a challenge. The Khanya Team collaborates with the District Team to facilitate education through technology at schools that serve both the affluent and the indigent communities. Regular meetings provide an opportunity to explore opportunities to cluster schools for the sharing of skills, successes and good practice in school management.
President Thabo Mbeki, at a visit to a school in Atlantis in 2003, praised the work that the Khanya Project does at the school. The Northern Area schools, communities, District and Khanya Teams share their pride in this accolade. Their success in curriculum delivery, Information Technology training, and cultivating proficiency in the e-environment is the result of committed teamwork.
