West Coast

The West Coast Education District serves the areas defined by the N1 and N7 highways: Stellenbosch Wine District, Paarl, Wellington, the Porterville Triangle, Olifants River Valley and the towns on the western coastline. The headquarters of the Education District is situated in the picturesque town of Paarl.

The West Coast Education District Team co-operates fully with Khanya Curriculum Facilitators and supports initiatives of the Project, facilitating the smooth collaboration with schools. The Khanya District Co-ordinator meets with the Senior Management Team at District headquarters every Tuesday and visits the District offices every Thursday, enhancing effective curriculum delivery at schools in this area. Education through technology gives impetus to the culture of learning at the most remote schools in this District.
