Alpine Primary

Alpine Primary finds itself in a community of contradictions. On the one hand are all the social negatives of unemployment, gangsterism, poverty and social degeneration while on the other hand you will find community based organizations, institutions and individuals who are fighting the battle to educate, motivate and provide viable alternatives to the youth and community at large.

The partnership between Khanya and the Shuttleworth Foundation that exists at this school will be the realization of a collective dream shared by learners, parents and educators.

In many areas the school has been a pioneer and these first tentative steps into the world of information technology has once again put them on a new and exciting path that will enable them to grow beyond the boundaries and limitations of an institution.
