KHANYA SCHOOLS

Drostdy High Technical School

Situated in the centre of Worcester, Drostdy High Technical is an ex-model C school with a long proud history of serving their learners well and producing solid young members of society. Nowhere is this more evident than in their proactive thinking with regards technology.

They established two of their own computer laboratories a number of years ago which are used extensively for curriculum delivery purposes. The school offers many technical subjects and all of these benefit from the use of technology.

With the advent of the new curriculum in 2006, and their inclusion in the Khanya Project, Drostdy High Technical has once again been very pro-active and they realised the importance of securing the latest software for their technical subjects in order that their learners would not be left behind. To this end, Khanya has assisted with the upgrading of one of the existing laboratories.

A technically independent school, Drostdy High Technical is an example of where Khanya has built partnerships according to the school’s specific needs.
